Fast forward to this year, a few spots open up and there is a key demographic to reach. She could fill it easily, that is, if she was younger and less known. See, with her success elsewhere her rate had significantly increased, and promoting her to the position she always wanted would cost more money than they felt like spending on someone who was never going to leave in the first place. It was much easier to hire someone new and virtually unknown that would cost less. Sad to watch her hold back those tears watching someone else in the spot that was promised to her ages prior. I don't know if it's optimism, stubbornness, stupidity or a combination of all three. She should have left years ago, but she is sure that the job is hers when the new girl slips up. Maybe she will, maybe she won't. Either way, she'll sooner leave than get the job she is waiting for. They know that the longer they string her along into thinking she'll be promoted, the longer she'll stay chasing that dream.

This one is long and too easy if you pay attention to all things included. It all started some time ago, definitely within the last ten years. She was young and had dreams of making it big, small jobs came and went before she landed a
tv gig that could have ultimately lead to her dream job. Her experience wasn't exactly what they wanted, but they found a place for her and promised an eventual promotion if the space became available. Well there was an opening, but it was filled before she was even considered. Not like it mattered, she was doing well elsewhere. She was getting the recognition she deserved, enough to where she could have left that job and the thought of a promotion behind. A promotion came, not the one that she was waiting for but it was something to hold her for a few more years. Another opening came but so did an opportunity to be a part of a major movie franchise. Huge. They knew that if she took the franchise, she would leave her position so they gave her an ultimatum: either stay and wait out for the promotion, or quit to do the franchise. She wasn't leaving her dream of that promotion behind, so the franchise was out of the question.

sucks for her. i would have just gone where the money is
uhh... what? this was confusing
What shows have been around for 10 years?
It's obviously someone from SNL, maybe a producer or writer...
Doesn't the chick that wrote Juno write for Weekend Update?
It's Aviva Martinez. She fits all the notes. Started out on Freaks & Geeks then went to writing for Conan w/ small jobs on the side, then went to work on SNL as a writer - I heard she turned down Sif in Thor. They have a new girl, I'm guessing she has been waiting to go from writer to being a part of the cast.
Who is that?
I heard she was leaving the show this year to finish working on other stuff. I hope she goes, the way they're playing her isn't right.
maybe they didn't promote her because she's ugly as sin she isn't even funny her movies suck
tits from magic mike can read/write?
This might as well have been a BI about my cat.
